Information for Prep 2025 and Prospective Families

An Enrolment Pack is available from the school office for any families interested in sending their child to Our Lady of the Way. Alternatively, you can download the information below. An Open Evening for Prep 2025 will be held on Tuesday March 12 2024 from 4.00pm – 6.00pm as part of our celebration of Catholic Education Week. Families are able to tour the school with the School Captains or school staff and visit all areas of the school.

School Tours can usually be conducted at any time during the school year for families new to the area or interested in applying for a position at the school. Please be aware that COVID-19 protocols placed on schools may affect the number of people participating in a tour or when a tour can be held.

An Enrolment Information Evening will be held on Tuesday April 23 commencing at 7.00pm. 

Small Group School Tours will be held on Wednesday May 1 2024 & Monday May 13 2024 commencing at 9.15am where families can see the school in operation. Other important dates and events for Prep 2025 are listed on the flyer below.

Applications for Prep 2025 will close on Friday May 17 2024 and as limited places are available, priority will be given in accordance with our Enrolment Policy and the order in which applications are received by the school. Interviews with families and prospective students will be held on Tuesday May 21, Thursday May 30 and Tuesday June 4. Offers for Prep 2025 will be sent out on Friday June 7 2024.

We accept enrolments from Catholic families in the Parish of Kingsbury and surrounds, as well as students from other Christian backgrounds. Families are welcome to enrol their child once they have reached 3 years of age.

School Fees are charged as a Family Fee. The Family School Fee in 2024 is $1850 per family, with $50 refunded if you attend a working bee. There is also a fee levy for each student to cover the cost of items such as the swimming program, excursions, IT equipment, visiting groups and performers, the Arts program, the Library program, as well as the Sports programs and equipment. Onsite Guitar and Keyboard lessons are available for families who are interested. Families with a valid Health Care Card are eligible to apply for a reduced fee under the MACS Concessional Fee Policy.

Our Lady of the Way and Kingsbury Primary School share a Before & After School Care Program, as well as a Holiday Care Program. Our Lady of the Way also provides the Sporting Schools Program one night a week after school as an additional sports opportunity for all students.

We are often able to welcome new enrolments from Prep to Year 6 any time throughout the year. Our community is an inclusive community, and we continue to be a welcoming and friendly school which supports families in nurturing the learning and development of their children.
